What the builder thought should be the living room is what I wanted to be my sewing room…why not? I practically live in there when I’m home! Both of my studios have really enhanced the beauty of my room and increased my efficiency when I sew. I love having everything at my fingertips, it has been a real time saver for me. All of my stabilizers and hoops are neatly tucked away in my embroidery center and my sewing center gives me all the space I need to lay out all of my projects.

Hi Linda,
I love your sewing studio. I have the same question as Jennie. Where did you buy your baskets that you have on the shelves under your outback leaf extension on your sewing cabinet? They appear to fit perfectly and look great. I plan to purchase a similar Koala quilting/sewing cabinet and would like to get some similar baskets for it.
Thanks and happy sewing.

Thanks for the nice comments about my studio! I got the baskets at a local Garden Ridge but have seen similar ones from a variety of stores. Be sure to measure your space before heading out to the store. Baskets look smaller in the store than they actually are once you try to place them on your shelves!

It looks like you do a lot of embroidery. Do you have a computer workstation set up in your room too? Also, is your Koala furniture the Asian Golden Teak? I love how organized you are.

Hi Sheila! Linda’s Koala cabinets are in the Asian Golden Teak finish.
