We really wanted to buy the QuiltPro Plus and the StorageCenter Plus, but our room is only 11 x 10. So in order to get the most versatility, we opted for the SewMate Plus, the RollAbout Plus with corner top, and the Cub Plus, both sewing cabinets with the Outback leaf.

Since we wanted as much cutting space as possible, we ordered the SewMate with two fabric palettes so we could have a continuous smooth cutting surface just as big as the StorageCenter Plus. Additionally, we wanted a smaller cutting table to be used more often. So we chose to get the Cub Plus with an extended fabric palette that extends the full width of the cabinet. When fully extended with the Outback leaf, we have a 35 x 65 cutting surface from the Cub Plus.

The color is African Ebony and we really like it. Blends well with the paint and carpet and our wood wall unit.

We’re also glad we went with smaller cabinets because they are easier to move and small enough to position in the room and still have plenty of space.

This is very functional utilizing the room to advantage all aspects of space. Only thing missing is the quilter. Love the setup.

Jim’s sewing studio is one of the reasons I went with Koala furniture for my newly remodeled sewing space.

This is the absolute best use of a small space I’ve seen so far. Something I could adapt in my planned sewing room.

I meant to leave a 10 star review, for some weird reason (probably me lol) it only shows a 7.
I found yours extremely helpful. I am downsizing earlier than expected (a great house in a place we always wanted to live became available). I am trying to figure out how to do without a completely separate cutting surface, but not have a giant cabinet either. Your plan gave me some great ideas. Thanks for sharing it.
