Do you have a longarm machine and if so where do put it? They take up a lot of room! I’m getting ready plan a new sewing room and have a large table for cutting and I also sew there. My machine is an embroidery machine so not sure how it would work on the tables where the machines recess.
Love the slat boards and definately want those as well as the quilt rack and design wall–I use the floor now! You must be so glad to have your new studio and a way to manage all the clutter. I get so tired of moving “stuff” from place to place so I can work at the different stations in my sewing room!

Oh My Goodness!
Your retreat is to die for Eleanor! All the space and beautiful wood cabinets and most of all every thing in one room. I have my Sewing Buddies ove on Thursdays and take over the entire house. I can only dream of have the space to put my BabyLock Jewel, machines and friends and sewing stations all in one room!
Congratulations Eleanor it is truly beautiful!

I sure hope I won, I love sewing and want to learn more about quilting. what a blessing it would be to learn from the best, the one and only Eleanor Burns!!!!
Oh, my goodness. I LOVE your room and everything in it. Your reality is my dream, I think. I, too, have a long-arm quilting machine that takes up a good bit of space, but it’s worth it for me. I don’t need all the walls to display my finished products, though. I think everything I’ve ever made and quilted has been given away to people who love the results, but can’t do it themselves (to include my 8 children, 1 DIL and four 2nd generation babies). I could post pictures, I guess. Of the quilts AND kids!
Thank you for showing us your heart – it’s beautiful!
Someday, when my lottery ticket wins, I will have a sewing room like this!..Beautiful. I can just imagine spending hours upon hours creating in this space!
Oh Eleanor, this is an amazing retreat you have made and I can only dream of having a space like this. I am back and forth from the living room to the garage to do my cutting and layering.
You are one amazing woman and I admire you so much and I have truly learned so much from you. Thank you. Enjoy your beautiful space.
I love your TV show here in p
Phoenix. I never miss it. I have learned so much. I use your videos right next to my sewing machine. Love your egg money quilts using my scraps. Thank you for all the good tips. Looking forward to more from you.
Love it! I have my sewing area in my laundry room which is located in the basement of our house! What a wonderful addition a piece of Koala would add to my area.

wow, I am envious of so much room.
what quilter wouldn’t be LOL
seriously it is quite impressive,
love your web site, especially all your videos, that are not just entertaining, but informative,
I have learned so much from them,
I have many of your books and patterns, they are the ones I use the most.
you make a positive difference in so many lives, that saying thank you seems not nearly enough, to convey what you mean to so many of us.
