What a fantastic sweepstakes to win! I have always thought Koala furniture was so beautiful. It would really help me to keep a bit more organized. If I were to win it would probably take me awhile to get back to my crafts because I’d be sitting and admiring my beautiful room. lol

What an awesome prize that would be! I have just started quilting and realize the setup of your sewing area is very important!! Thanks for the opportunity to win this awesome prize!!!

Ooh! I would just love Koala furniture! I have lusted over it since I started quilting! It would help me in completing my UFOs.

Winning a Koala sewing studio would be a dream come true! I have sewed for approximately 50 years, but have never had one room set up and dedicated to sewing. I love the creative aspect of sewing and, as a young mother, appreciated the cost saving aspect, as I sewed most of my childrens’ clothing. Over the years I have sewed everything from baby gifts to wedding veils and curtains. I recently retired and would like to make a quilt for each of my grandchildren as a keepsake. I currently use a cardboard cutting board on the bed in one of my bedrooms and then sew in another bedroom. I would love to have everything in one room.

What a great prize. I very seldon win anything, but sure wouldn’t mind winning this. I do lots of quilting for fun, giving lots of it to charities and family and friends, and also sew quilts for others. I also sewed most of my own and my children’s clothes when they were young. I have eyed Koalo cabinets for years, but knew it really wasn’t in the budget. How exciting it would be to win.

I make many quilts, small and large. I’ve never really had a good place to sew, consequently I have taken over our dining room with all of my fabrics, machines, etc. which I move out and put away when having family gatherings, i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc. My dream has always been to have my own sewing room furnished with Koala sewing furniture. What a prize!!! I think if I won my husband would actually build on a room for my sewing room.

OH MY GOSH, this is such amazing furniture for a sewing center. I have been in many Quilt Shops & they also have Koala furniture & it is the best out there. Right now I have my things in our basement on banquet tables. If I were to win this it would be a dream come true. I teach my grandsons to quilt so now they would have room to do it on.
Oct 30, 2010 @ 13:14:04
Koala furniture is beautifull! What a fun time it would be to design and decorate a sewing/quilting room around it. What a dreamy blessing it will be for the lucky winner. I hope it’s me!

Koala furniture is truely a wonderful product. I have been looking for the “perfect solution” to my sewing room for years. Everything I look at is just not right. My room is total choas. I truely believe that being unorganized limits my creativeness. I hope to add a Koala product to room soon. With another baby on the way, funds are limited. I have been an advid quilter for years, and turning my room into “My Studio” would be dream come true.
Oct 31, 2010 @ 13:57:09
This would be a wonderful thing to win. I have always dreamed of having a room set up properly for my sewing, quilting and embroidery. Wow! Your furniture would sure do the trick.
Oct 31, 2010 @ 21:49:22
What a fabulous idea for a giveaway. Thank You Koala and Nancy for the opportunity to enter this contest. As a senior citizen, widow, crafter & quilter it would fit my requirements to a “T”.
Nov 02, 2010 @ 18:30:01
What a wonderful opportunity, I am new at quilting and embroidery. It looks like it has a place for everything. Just think, so pretty you never have to pull the door shut when company comes. I know every crafter, sewing person knows what I am talking about.
Nov 03, 2010 @ 14:12:57
My husband has been out of work for a year and I would love to have a sewing studio to start my own buisness
Nov 03, 2010 @ 16:42:30
I am a long time sewer/quilter but have limited room to do so. I think a sweing studio from Koala would help me organize my area(small) to be more productive. My fingers are crossed that I might get my wish. Which is to have a great place to do my sewing.
Nov 05, 2010 @ 21:24:52
Having never won anything in my life, I can’t imagine how grateful I would feel. The 1 year anniversary of my husbands death is November 28 and I haven’t been able to get back to quilting yet. Our 1st grandbaby was born June 8 and I am trying my best to get motivated to make his quilt. Having a comfortable, designated place to sew would surely help. Whoever does win will definately have a wonderous Christmas. Your company should be commended for making somebody’s dream come true.
Nov 09, 2010 @ 19:03:41
What a win that is for any seamstress. Not to wish anyone ill, but I am selfish enough to sure hope it comes my way. Yummm.
Nov 12, 2010 @ 13:54:19
WOW…what an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL setup!!! This will be an OUTSTANDING Christmas gift for some lucky winner!!! Being a teacher and wife to one of Texas’ VERY VERY FEW fulltime farmers…we’ll never be able to afford anything this wonderful…but a girl can dream can’t she??? *HUGE SMILE* My husband is a 5th generation peanut/cotton farmer here in our little town, on the farm which has been in his family for over 100 years!!! What an AMAZING addition this Koala Studio would be to our little farm house!!! Ohhhhhhhhhh what an honor it would be…I have one room that’s designated for my “Sewing Room”…but currently use the L that shoots off of my desk for a sewing table…it’s a little tight…but you use what you’ve got!!!
Nov 14, 2010 @ 14:17:49
I have always admired Koala furniture. Very well made and so beautiful!!! The comfort and ease of working in an enviroment that is so stylish and functional would add to my creative flow.
Nov 14, 2010 @ 22:55:07
Kaola Furniture … what a dream come true this would be. The furniture is so beautiful. I would love so much to have a fantastic set-up like this. Perhaps, I’ll either get lucky or win a lottery so that I can purchase some of this furniture.
I am a long time sewer and quilter but have never seen anything quite so beautiful in my life as the Kaola studios and cabinets.

Furniture is fantastic. I am currently redoing my sewing room and already have one Koala cabnet but really need another for my second machine. I just know that these cabnets are awesome. They really make it easier to have an organize work area.

May 04, 2011 @ 08:01:25
We’re building a new home and planning on having a sewing room, I’m wondering what type of flooring you have in your studio.
May 04, 2011 @ 09:17:13
Barbara,
I have Berber carpeting in my sewing studio. If I could do it all over again, I’d choose hardwood or a faux hardwood floor. Nancy
May 12, 2011 @ 15:33:02
I really enjoyed seeing the different setups that Koala furniture has for sewers. It is set up to have everything handy and not take up a lot of space. I have been sewing since I was 8 and now in my 60′s. I have never had a “special area” for sewing. I always set up in the kitchen and had to put everything away when I needed the space for “kitchen stuff”. Wastes a lot of time and energy. It would be heaven for me to have a special area all set up just to sew. I could leave everything out so I could sew whenever I had a few minutes. Very efficient and beautiful furniture for the sewer in all of us. Just love it!
May 15, 2011 @ 08:59:43

I just moved my things into a new room at home that I have waited 5 years to get the clutter out. Now, I can’t believe how much I have. The room is now too small. What a treat to win! I would have a beautiful room and it would once again feel big. I need help in getting a more organized space!
Jan 03, 2012 @ 08:40:29
Over the years I’ve had my sewing machine in whatever part of the house seemed to fit the project. My Mother, Daughters and I have spent many years making quilts and clothing for family, friends and various organizations. Now that I’m retired and have more time to spend on my sewing projects, I’m looking forward to getting organized in a way that I can see what I’ve got to work with at a glance, and still have work space free. I have some ideas but it would be such a thrill to work with professionals to come up with a design that would be not only functional but beautiful as well.

My question is, will the Evolutions extra row of Thread be able to remain attached to the serger on this lift or does it have to be removed should you decide to put the machine away (which I probably would not). It is an 8 thread serger and some of the basic threadings have the cones sitting up in the far back position….just wondering.
